Ruoshi Diao - M.Eng., P.Eng.

Ruoshi has been practicing geotechnical engineering with GeoPacific since 2022 and has experience on a wide range of projects throughout the Greater Vancouver area. His experience includes seismic design, foundation design, slope stability assessments, retaining wall and shoring design, and soft soil engineering for projects ranging from small residential developments to high-rise buildings, tilt-up commercial buildings, and municipal infrastructure. Ruoshi’s technical strengths have been developed through extensive involvement in projects involving soft and compressible soils, including the assessment, design, and implementation of various ground improvement and soft soil treatment methods.

Ruoshi earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2020 and a Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2022. He is a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia.
