Excavation and Shoring
GeoPacific specializes in the design of tie back shoring systems including shotcrete, sheet pile, DSM, soldier pile and jet grout walls. GeoPacific also specializes in the design of internally braced shoring walls for sites with challenging off-site conditions or where encroachment agreements are not possible. We have completed deep excavation shoring designs for excavations up to 30 metres below street grade in Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Portland, and San Diego.

GeoPacific has pioneered the use of jet grout shoring for cut off walls in western Canada including projects in: North Vancouver (The Pier), Surrey (Infinity), and Vancouver (Fairmont Pacific Rim and Olympic Village).
