Geotechnical Site Investigations

GeoPacific conducts site investigation for our clients to determine subsurface soil and groundwater conditions. We deploy various types of drill rigs including solid or hollow stem auger, Sonic, ODEX, or diamond core to retrieve disturbed or undisturbed soil and rock.

Our geologists classify and log the soil and rock as it is brought to the surface and collect samples for further testing. We utilize other tools including DCPT, electric CPT, SPT, down-hole geophones, and other sensors to aid in the classification of the site conditions.
