Hydrogeology
GeoPacific’s hydrogeology department aims to fill any knowledge gaps when providing groundwater management and water supply recommendations to our client base. GeoPacific has completed comprehensive drill-based hydrogeological investigations to characterize the groundwater conditions at various sites throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest United States. Our findings are summarized in hydrogeological reports which respond to rapidly changing groundwater management regulations and requirements set forth by various municipalizes and regulatory bodies.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Groundwater monitoring well installation, automated groundwater monitoring, vibrating wireline piezometer installation and sump flow monitoring
- Aquifer testing; rising / falling head slug testing, pneumatic slug testing, pump testing and packer testing
- 2-D and 3-D finite-element groundwater modelling to estimate flow direction, groundwater inflows, anticipated dewatering rates etc.
