Katerine Prado da Silva - B.A.Sc., CESCL, P.Eng.
Katerine graduated in environmental engineering 10 years ago from a public university in Brazil. In Canada, she began her career in the Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) field 5 years ago, specializing as a designer of temporary water treatment systems at construction sites before joining GeoPacific as an ESC field monitor and ESC plan designer.
Katerine’s extensive time spent in the field has equipped her with a strong understanding of field problems, project constraints, reasons for site non-compliance with ESC regulations, expectations of various municipalities in the Lower Mainland, and effective ESC plan design strategies.
Recognizable by her Brazilian accent and direct communication style, Katerine is a professional engineer registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia (EGBC). Additionally, she holds the designation of Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead from the Erosion and Sediment Control Association of British Columbia (ESCA BC).
