Roberto Avendano - B.Eng., P.Eng., Principal

Roberto Avendano is a Principal with GeoPacific and has worked in the field of geotechnical engineering since 2005. Roberto has experience on a wide variety of projects in the Lower Mainland and elsewhere in BC, Alberta and Yukon, and is experienced in foundation seismic design, liquefaction assessment and mitigation designs, foundation design, slope stability assessments, retaining wall design and shoring design. Roberto’s projects range from small residential developments to high rise buildings, small and large tilt-up commercial buildings, port facility upgrades, municipal roads, dyke designs and services, telecommunication towers, foundation design and deep foundation design.

Furthermore, Roberto has extensive experience with soft soil engineering and has been involved in numerous projects constructed on soft soils or reclaimed soils. Roberto works diligently with the GeoPacific Staff to provide our clients with successful outcomes and is an important collaborator within the company. Roberto is a registered professional engineer in British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon.
